About - Diarado's Boy is a premium stallion from the first crop of Diarado. He has a good conformation, and is well built, with sporty and athletic movements. This up and coming young producer has plenty of scope, an ideal leg technique and good back technique at the jump. He presents the perfect blend of blood, scope and rubber elasticity, coupled with a lovely attitude.

Performance - Diarado's Boy was awarded a premium at his Oldenburg licensing, and at the 70-day test in Schlieckau in 2012, he was was given an overall mark of 9,08. He has since achieved several wins and placings at novice, elementary and intermediate level, and is now competing successfully at international 1.40m level under Nicolas Pedersen for Denmark. 

Sire - Diarado was the sensational winner of his licensing in Holstein, and went on to win his 70-day test with a 10.0 for his free jump, 9.5 for rideability, and 9.75 for his jump under saddle. He confirmed this performance with a Bronze Medal in the Bundeschampioat for 5 year olds in 2010. He is one of the most blood, modern sons of Diamant de Semilly, who won team gold at the 2002 World Championships and team silver at the '03 European Championships, and has repeatedly been Best Sire of Young Horses in France.  Diarado's damsire Corrado I has produced progeny winnings of over €2.74 million.

Damline - With the damline of Argetinus x Landadel x Pilot, Diarado's Boy brings some of the best progenitors of serious sport horses. Interestingly, top dressage performer and confirmed reproducer Damon Hill (Bundeschampion, World Champion, and Olympic team medallist) comes from the same damline. His state-premium dam has also produced the licensed son, Cassius, and a further son, Lagerfeld, jumping very successfully at 1.40m level for Ireland.

Progeny - Diarado's Boy had his first foal crop in 2014 and on the basis of the inspection of these, was awarded the Main premium in Oldenburg - an accolade for the best crop by a first season sire.
